Specific entry requirements for this course

Entry criteria for the course require 5 x Grade 4 at GCSE, including English & Maths. For students who do not meet the entry criteria, there is an option to study a foundation year in preparation for T-Level as a 3-year 6th form.

A-Level entry requirements

At least four 5s at GCSE.
Your English and maths GCSEs must be at least grade 4.

BTEC entry requirements

At least five 4s at GCSE. A grade 4 in math, English language, or literature, and a grade 3 in the other subjects is required.

Industry Placement

Industry placements are facilitated by a network of Primary Schools across Blackburn with Darwen. Students will engage in 21 weeks (750 hours) of hands-on experience, gaining invaluable insight and practical skills in real-world settings.

Employability Skills

Throughout the program, students will develop a range of employability skills, including communication, teamwork, problemsolving, and professionalism, enhancing their readiness for the workforce.
