Specific entry requirements for this course

To enrol in the T-Level course, students must have achieved a minimum of 5 Grade 4s at GCSE, including English and Maths. For those who do not meet the entry criteria, there is an option to study a foundation year in preparation for the T-Level, extending the program to three years in total. At D6, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of media professionals. Our T-Level in Media Broadcast Production provides a unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience, preparing students for success in this dynamic industry.

A-Level entry requirements

At least four 5s at GCSE.
Your English and maths GCSEs must be at least grade 4.

BTEC entry requirements

At least five 4s at GCSE. A grade 4 in math, English language, or literature, and a grade 3 in the other subjects is required.

Industry Placement

Industry placements are a cornerstone of our program, facilitated by a network of local media production companies. With our longstanding relationships with national and international award winning filmmakers, students will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience during 9 weeks (350 hours) of placement.

Employability Skills

Through practical experiences and classroom learning, students will develop a range of employability skills highly sought after in the media industry, including teamwork, communication, problemsolving, and adaptability.
